Lion King - Lighting

This is one of the proudest moments of my career.

Prior to film being sent to be finished at MPC London and turned into an amazing visuals you see now, MPC & Disney had a small core team of people filming the movie in Virtual Reality (Los Angeles) with Director, Cinematographer, Production Designer and the rest of the core crew.

I was fortunate to be a part of two-man Lighting team with Lead Lighter Samuel Maniscalco under the guidance of legendary Cinematographer Caleb Deschanel. We worked on lighting each scene and then shooting it on stage. It was an amazing learning experience when digital guys and old school film guys come together. Incredible job by MPC and Disney all the way from pre-production to post production.
